French Green Lentils:

The rich peppery flavor and firm texture of French green lentils remain even after cooking. The slate green color with marbled blue flecks puts these lentils front and center of any gourmet meal.


Stuff to know:

  • Rich in minerals like iron and magnesium
  • Have the same antioxidant phytochemicals as in blueberries


Directions for use:

  • No pre-soaking is needed; just sort and rinse.
  • Place 3 cups water or stock for every 1 cup lentils in a pot. 
  • Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
  • Add water as needed.
