Quinoa Flakes:

Quinoa flakes make a terrific hot, gluten-free breakfast cereal for both you and your baby. Substitute quinoa flakes in baking recipes as a wholesome substitute for oats.


Stuff to know:

  • Quinoa flakes are smaller than rolled oats, so they are more tender and cook up softer.
  • Helps make baked goods lighter and fluffier.


Directions for use:

  • Add 1/3 cup of quinoa flakes for every 1 cup rapidly boiling water.
  • Return to a boil and cook for 90 seconds, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool. Cereal will thicken slightly.
  • Season to taste.
