Information Collection and Use
We are the sole owners of the information collected from you. We collect and store information that you voluntarily give us via our website, email or other direct contact from you. We use this information for processing and tracking orders you place and for customer service purposes, such as answering questions you send us. We do not use your information to send promotional or marketing emails at this time, although we may do so in the future.
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by our website. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our website.
In order to place an order on our website, you must provide certain personally identifiable information (first and last name, mailing/billing address, email address, phone number) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date). Gender information is optional. This information is used to fill your orders and for billing purposes. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.
You may check out as a guest or register an account. This does not affect the information that we collect. Registering makes it easier for you to use our site by prefilling your shipping and billing address on subsequent orders.
We do not capture card information regardless of whether you check out as a guest or have registered an account, as payments and refunds are processed through a third party payment gateway service provider. You will need to re-enter your credit card information for each order.
Third Party Information Sharing and Online Tracking
We will not sell, trade, rent, or lease your information to third parties. We do not share your information with any third party other than as necessary to fulfill your request, i.e., an outside shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill users for purchases. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order, and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking. We do not allow social media platforms or other third parties to host plug-ins or widgets such as share buttons on our website or to otherwise collect data. We do not engage with ad networks or allow them to set cookies or collect data. We may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary.
We take precautions to protect your personal information both online and offline. Online, we secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the SSL protocol.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
We use “cookies” on our website. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive by a web page server and is intended to help improve your access to our site. For example, cookies help us to remember and process items in your shopping cart. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our website. You can contact us at any time to see what data we may have about you, to change/correct/ delete any data we have about you, or to express any concern you have about our use of your data.
How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. As there is no established industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time. Please note that we do not track customers over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising.
