Description
High in dietary fiber and averaging around 17% protein, you may wish to mix quinoa flour with other flours for baking.
Stuff to know:
Try roasting quinoa flour first (spread up to 1/2 inch thick on a cookie sheet and cook at 220 degrees for about 3 hours), which will make the consistency more like all purpose flour and absorb better when baking. This also removes bitterness that quinoa naturally has.
For maximum freshness store quinoa flour in the refrigerator or freezer.
